These are medium-length tools with slight oversizing to improve tool life and reduce premature wear.

These tools are named by what size and gender of joint they are meant to grind (by function) — not the tool’s shape itself.

For example:

• 14mm M = female-shaped grinder tool (for grinding a 14mm male joint)

• 14mm F = male-shaped grinder tool (for grinding a 14mm female joint)
